Jewish community Chabad Lubavitch Moldova
Winner of the Olympiad

The Olympiac project was created in 2012 on the initiative of the Hetziva program and the Jewish Agency for Israel. The Olympiad is a competition for knowledge of Jewish and Israeli culture and traditions.

The last Olympiad winner, held in 2021, was Zvi (Grigory) Pezelman, a student at the Yeshiva in Odessa!

The prize was awarded after the victory, but the meaningful prizes were delivered this year. The commission of the Sokhnut organization decided that the winners could choose any gift in the Bonus store. Zvi is very interested in learning more about kashrut, so his personal choice was the freezer for home storage of kosher meat as well as sets of new dishes! Congratulations to the winner on a well-deserved win!
