Lag B’Omer 5781 – Taking Over The Streets

Moldova has recently had another covid outbreak, and is under lockdown during the day with nightly curfews. Due to this, traffic of vehicles in the city is more sparse. This enabled the parade to go through the main roads of the city. The parade obviously had Covid-19 regulations.

The vehicles paraded the streets, adorned with balloons, flags and posters about Jewish campaigns. The procession stopped in the center of the streets, and the children chanted the 12 verses that the Chabad Rebbe established for children.

The parade ended at the Chabad Synagogue, where the participants gathered for a Lag B’Omer meal.

The parade was organized by the shluchim Rabbi Mendy Axelrod, Rabbi Mendy Gotzel and Rabbi Shmulik Zalmanov and their wives.
