Farbrengen on the day of 10th (Yud) of Shevat
One of the most important dates of the month of Shevat is the tenth day (Yud Shevat). It’s the yahrzeit of the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Yosef Yitzchock Schneerson. It’s also the day that the seventh Rebbe – Menachem Mendel Schneerson – took over the leadership of the movement.
The Farbrengen of the Chabad Lubavitch synagogue in Kishinev took place in the banquet hall of the Gostiny Dom at the Telecentre, where it has already become tradition for our community to gather on important days. Rav Mendel Axelrod, Rav Mendel Gotzel, as well as other special guests of the meeting spoke to the guests.
At the gala dinner, there were many Jews who noted the special atmosphere of the evening – the meeting was held in a warm and friendly environment. Jewish music played and a hot kosher dinner was served. The meeting ended with a wish of health to each other and all the Jews of the world.
