Israeli students have a home in Kishinev
Students who this year joined the university of Kishinev Moldova are receiving help by the synagogue members to keep the laws of Judaism.
For the past month, Rabbi Zalman Abelsky, Chief Rabbi of Moldova, along with Rabbi Levy Ableksy from New York and Rabbi Levy Abelsky from Israel have been putting on tefillin, placing mezuzos, and teaching students from universities in Moldova, the guidelines of the holidays.
Holiday of Succot was celebrated in Kishinev
The holiday of Succot was celebrated in Kishinev with a lot of excitement. It was lead by Rabbi Zalman Abelsky, chief rabbi of Moldova. A lot of succos were built by the synagogue and many more places throughout Moldova. During the holiday, many hot, delicious meals were served in the succah outside the synagogue.
