On the eve of Passover, the children learned how to bake Matzah! Rebbetzin Leah Gotzel showed the students that matzah is made from only two ingredients – flour and water – and takes only 18 minutes.
Members of the community joined in to help make the dough and distribute it to each child. Yocheved Melnichenko and Adelina Gulobovskaya helped the little chefs roll out the dough and bring it to the oven. Each child got to bake a few pieces of matzah. They were able to enjoy the hot and delicious matzah right in the synagogue and take some homes to treat their parents!
