There is great excitement in our community as nine teens from CTeen Moldova are currently in New York participating in the annual international CTeen Shabbaton, joining thousands of Jewish teens from around the world.
For our teens, this is more than just a trip — it is an empowering and unforgettable experience filled with unity, inspiration and Jewish pride. From uplifting prayers and spirited Shabbat meals to powerful gatherings and meaningful connections, every moment strengthens their sense of identity and belonging.
Seeing our teens standing proudly in the heart of Manhattan, holding the Moldovan flag and representing the Jewish community of Moldova, is a moment of tremendous pride and nachas. They are not simply attending an event — they are part of a generation choosing identity, values and a vibrant connection to Judaism.
We wish them a Shabbat filled with meaning and inspiration, and that the light and strength they gain will continue to shine within them for years to come — bringing renewed energy and Jewish pride back home to Moldova.
