“Just a Little Bit More!”: A Day at Moadon That Children Don’t Want to End

It’s late afternoon, parents are arriving, and the room is still buzzing with energy. A chess game is in its final moves, music drifts in from the next room, and a group of children proudly shows off drawings made just moments earlier. When it’s time to go, a familiar phrase fills the air: “Just a little bit more!”

That’s how most days end at Moadon – our after school.

Moadon has quietly become a favorite place for children — not because they have to be there, but because they want to be. Each afternoon is filled with movement, laughter, and meaningful activity. Children move naturally from Torah learning to music, from chess to art and cooking, fully engaged and eager to participate.

Beyond the fun, there is purpose. The program blends creativity with values, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging. Staff members note that even quieter children quickly find their place, discovering talents and forming friendships along the way.

Perhaps the clearest measure of success comes at the end of the day: children leaving with smiles — and already asking what tomorrow will bring.
