There are moments in the Jewish calendar when the heart feels especially full, when our global family seems a little closer, and when the spirit of unity becomes almost tangible. These days are among them.
Today, one can say with confidence that the vast majority of the Jewish people are, in one way or another, connected to the global network of Chabad shluchim. And at this very moment, during these remarkable days, shluchim from every corner of the world are gathering at 770 — a time when the atmosphere itself feels charged with inspiration.
The spirit there is truly elevating. It fills the shluchim with renewed strength and purpose, enabling them to return to their communities with fresh resolve, despite the many challenges and profound responsibilities that accompany their sacred mission.
This year, Moldova is proudly represented by four shluchim:
- Rabbi Mendy Gotzel
- Rabbi Shneur Tifenbrun
- Rabbi Menachem Mendel Axelrod — Chief Rabbi of Moldova
- Rabbi Zushe Abelsky
Today, the camera captured an especially touching moment: Rabbi Axelrod addressing the shluchim with dignity and heartfelt pride, representing the Jewish community of Moldova with deep devotion and an unwavering sense of responsibility.
