Israeli Boxer Fights in Moldova
A colorful fight in December between Israeli boxer Sagiv Ismailov and Evgeniy Shabazov in Kishinev delighted those in attendance. Sagiv spent Shabbat in our synagogue, and after Shabbat he went to the fight. He entered the ring in full compliance with Jewish traditions and represented his people with dignity. Proudly entering the ring wearing a kippah and tzitzit, he demonstrated not only his superb fighting skills but also his strong connection to Judaism.
