Although Sunday School still took place during the summer months, today was the opening of the new school season.
A lot of new and exciting things await our young participants this year. Natalya Yocheved Melnichenko delivered greetings. She presented gifts from the synagogue and, together with Adelina Golubovskaya, talked about how you can earn Bit-Cohens (Sunday school currency), which can then be exchanged for gifts.
Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Zalmanov read a letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe wishing all Jewish children a good school year.
We wish everyone good luck in the new school year, and may the new knowledge and skills remain with the children for life.
