Jewish community Chabad Lubavitch Moldova
Winter Weather

Unexpected snowfall, which temporarily paralyzed the city, did not interfere with the seminar. On the contrary, it added variety and a fun winter mood to the events. Sunday school, Enerjew youth club, Moadon courses and even the kindergarten still took place.

The snowfall affected not only the traffic in the city, but also travel plans to and from the city. Dozens of flights were canceled at the local airport and many buses were stuck on the roads. The weather impacted the plans of hundreds of people in our community. Our responsibility was to provide assistance to all Jews who found themselves in difficult situations due to flight cancellations. Thanks to our actions, everyone found warmth and comfort before safely continuing on their journey home.

The frosty weather did not prevent us from celebrating the joyful event at Sunday school, where a special event was held for mothers and their children at the synagogue. The event was hosted by Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Zalmanov and Adelina Golubovskaya.

The children and their mothers made challah, cards, and enjoyed a festive lunch. The event emphasized the importance of the community in the lives of its members and the importance of helping people in difficult times. Held in bad weather, the event showed that the community is able to adapt to difficult circumstances and come together to create a positive environment.
