On December 19th, a festive concert “The Lights of Chanuckaâ€, sanctified to this splendid holiday, took place in the Kishinev theatre named after Chekhov.

On December 19th, a festive concert “The Lights of Chanucka”, sanctified to this splendid holiday, took place in the Kishinev theatre named after Chekhov.
The concert was organized by all Jewish organizations of Moldova: The two-hour program amazed by a great variety of different items. Vocal and
dancing turns were superseded by acrobatic feats. All the tricks have been accomplished with high professionalism and enthusiasm. There have also been
presented many interesting creative godsends.
During short intervals between items of the program, audience was recounted with history of Chanucka and a cartoon movie about this splendid holiday was shown to them.
The Chief rabbi of Moldova reb Zalman Abelsky lighted the candles and offered up a Chanucka prayer. He congratulated all Jews of Moldova with the holiday and wished them all the best.
