Within the walls of the rebuilt Chabad Lubavitch synagogue, Jewish women of Kishinev gathered to observe the yahrzeit of the rebbetzin of Chana Schneersohn, the mother of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The honored guest of the evening was Rebbetzin Leah, the wife of Reb Zalman OB”M. She was greeted with a standing ovation and applause by the women of the community.
At the end of the event, a raffle was held and 4 winners received beautiful gifts from Rebbetzin Leah. Every woman received not only a hand-made challah, but also a beautiful apron and even a book about the life of the wonderful Rebbetzin Chana Schneersohn.
