Each morning, our community gathers in the synagogue for the morning prayer. Today, in honor of Rosh Chodesh, we read from two torah scrolls. We were lucky to be joined by our esteemed guest, Israeli Ambassador to Moldova Yoel Lion, who came to Moldova to participate in the events commemorating the 120th anniversary of the Kishinev pogrom. Chapters from the Mishnah, as well as Kaddish, were recited by the Chief Rabbi of Kishinev – Rabbi Mendel Axelrod.
