BIRTHDAY OF RIVKA ZALMANOV
On 16th of Sivan in the central synagogue of Chabad Lubavitch Kishinev the birthday of Rivka Zalmanov, the daughter of Shmuel and Chaya Mushka Zalmanov, was celebrated.
Guests who came to the celebration were fortunate to be on a Jewish birthday for the first time and get familiar with all the customs that are observed on such a special day. A lottery was held for the guests, in which kosher food and Jewish books were raffled off.
Kohens Zushe Abelsky and Borukh Dubirny performed the rite of blessing “birkat kohanim” for baby Rivka. Shmuel and Chaya Mushka Zalmanov thanked G-d for the wonderful girl!
