In today's Moldova, the chaotic economic and social conditions are making everyday life a trial for the average citizen. For the poor, the ill, the elderly, and the children---it is often a nightmare. We run a soup kitchen the Synagogue.

Despite all that has been done both physically and , the demand for our services are especially crucial during the winter months.

Our day school, as well preschools and institutions provides the children 2 square meals every day. In Moldova today, the importance of this food program can't be underestimated. It is, in fact, desperately important, for hunger has become a constant in the lives of too many people who suffer the pangs of deprivation every day.
