Remembering the Kishinev Pogrom Victims of 1903

 On April 8, the 28th of Nissan a gathering dedicated to the memory of Kishinev Pogrom victims of 1903 was held near the Monument mounted in 2003 on the territory of the former Jewish cemetery.

 About 100 people including elderly, schoolchildren, leaders of the Jewish organizations. Kaddish was read by a rabbi Daniel Mountain from Chabad Lubavitch Jewish community. The speeches underlined the tragedy of one of the first and the bloodiest pogroms in the 20th century, its historical meaning and necessity to continue the legacy of the vicims Am Israel Chai.
